From the Frankfurt collection a dramatically painted vase and bowl offer a peek into an underwater paradise. Depending on the piece, lionfish -  powder blue sturgeon - clownfish and threadfin butterflyfish (among others) play around coral and kelp. While Herend is famous for its fishnet painting for these sea life vignettes Herend artists have wisely chosen to use a natural coloration thereby maximizing the detail and beauty of the tropical fish.
