Lladro Acrobat Over Bar New Age Circus Collection. Limited Edition of 3000. The acrobat is particularly noteworthy. The wooden base on which the piece is supported imitates the pedestal used by these artists for their acts of flexibility and balance. The bar, or stilt as it is known in the circus profession, fixed to the pedestal is the piece’s only point of support. Due to this added technical difficulty, the artists had to develop special supports for firing the piece.
